The descriptions and images are a guideline only. Our Fees explained: Buyers’ Premium (BP) is tiered: 30.5% (+VAT) for hammer prices under £15 28% (+VAT) for hammer prices of £15 or more. Buyers’ premium (BP) is added to every lot without exception. All lots are sold with VAT on the hammer price. Occasionally Vat does not apply because the item is either zero rated or exempt but these will be exceptional events and bidders should assume that Vat on the hammer price will always apply unless we specifically state that this is not the case.
