It’s the August bank holiday, and four online catalogues close in quick succession from tonight into tomorrow morning. Rosan Reeves in Hailsham runs three back-to-back vehicle sales this evening, from a work van to a near-new electric BMW; then Richard Winterton opens the rostrum in Lichfield on Tuesday for a full antiques-and-home sale. Practical motors first, then jewellery, ceramics and garden statuary.

What’s in the Rosan Reeves Ford Transit Connect sale?
First to fall is a 2018 Ford Transit Connect 200 Limited EcoBlue L1 panel van, registration CX68 VRV, showing 66,000 miles and offered as part of a liquidation. This is the sort of lot trade buyers quietly love: a low-mileage, short-wheelbase work van from a business wind-down, where the seller wants a clean, quick sale rather than top retail money. The Limited trim is better specced than the base van, and the EcoBlue diesel is a sensible, well-understood workhorse.
One thing to read carefully — payment is via bank transfer only, so have your account details ready before you bid. It’s an online-only sale from Rosan Reeves Auctions at Arlington Road West, Hailsham, BN27 3RE, closing Monday 31 August 2026 from 7:30pm (BST). Place a live or absentee bid via the Bidspirit catalogue linked from the Ford Transit Connect liquidation listing, and see what else is coming up from these East Sussex auctioneers.
Is the 2022 BMW i4 M50 at Rosan Reeves worth bidding on?
Half an hour later, the pick of the night crosses the block: a 2022 BMW i4 M50 electric Gran Coupe with only 19,000 miles. This is the fast one — the M50 is the twin-motor, all-wheel-drive flagship of the i4 range, genuinely quick and beautifully finished, and at roughly three years old with such low mileage it’s barely run in. If you’ve been circling used EVs, this is exactly the kind of lot that rewards homework: check the service history, the tyres and the battery health, and set a firm ceiling before the bidding heats up.
This Rosan Reeves Auctions sale is online only, closing Monday 31 August 2026 at 8:00pm (BST) from Arlington Road West, Hailsham, BN27 3RE. For the catalogue link and full details, see the BMW i4 M50 vehicle auction listing. It’s an electric-car auction in Hailsham worth a serious look if an M50 has been on your wish list — and there are more East Sussex car auctions to browse alongside it.
Is the 2010 Vauxhall Corsa SE at Rosan Reeves a bargain?
Rounding off the trio is a 2010 Vauxhall Corsa SE 1.4, a five-door hatchback registered DP10 TYU with 124,000 miles that runs and drives. No pretensions here — this is a first-car, second-car or nip-to-the-station motor, and at auction it’s the honest, cheap-to-insure option that new drivers and driving-school parents actually need. The SE trim adds a few creature comforts over the base Corsa, and a car that starts and drives at this money is always worth a punt if the price stays sensible.
As with the van, payment is by bank transfer only. The sale is online only and closes Monday 31 August 2026 at 8:30pm (BST) from Rosan Reeves Auctions in Hailsham. See mileage, images and the live catalogue on the Vauxhall Corsa SE listing, or keep an eye on other East Sussex vehicle sales.
What’s in the Richard Winterton Antique & Home Sale?
Come Tuesday morning the mood shifts entirely. Richard Winterton Auctioneers hold their Antique & Home Sale on Tuesday 1 September 2026, starting at 9:00am (BST) from Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13 8NF. It’s an online and in-person sale, so you can view in the room and bid on the rostrum, or follow the live catalogue from home.
Note the new running order, because it changes how you plan your day. The sale opens with garden effects (lots 1–34) — statuary, planters and outdoor pieces well timed for late-summer borders — then tools and electricals (51–86) and a long run of furniture (200–342). From 10:30am the jewellery comes up (401–524), then ceramics, glass and household miscellaneous (751–981). There are deliberate gaps in the lot numbers between sections, so check the catalogue carefully rather than assuming a lot is missing.
This is the classic general sale where sharp-eyed dealers and interior designers do well: a piece of period furniture for a fraction of retail, a ring or pocket watch in the jewellery run, or a bit of statuary to finish a garden before the weather turns. Newcomers are welcome — register in advance, set your maximum bids, and factor in the buyer’s premium. See timings and the easyliveAuction catalogue link on the Antique & Home Sale listing, and explore more West Midlands auctioneers on Auction Eagle.
How do you bid on these auctions?
Four sales, two very different flavours: quick online vehicle lots tonight from Rosan Reeves, and a full antiques-and-home sale tomorrow from Richard Winterton. Register through each listing, bid via the linked live catalogue, and follow both houses on Auction Eagle to catch their next sales.
